Today is Arab Environment day and we continue to work very hard to build
our Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability, helping people
(like farmers and the environment). Meanwhile settlers burned olive trees
and stole olive harvest of farmers in the north. And a week ago, OPEC
(dominated by the cleptocracy called “Saudi Arabia” committing genocide in
Yemen) released its forecast for world economy and oil/gas/coal demand. It
claimed (devilishly) wishful forecasts that there will not be a real shift
away from fossil fuels. Here is an example: “while many countries are
notionally signed up to a global, collective effort to combat climate
change, the majority of policies relating to energy demand and supply will
continue to be set and enforced at the national level, resulting in
continued disparity in the scope of policy ambitions among countries and
regions.” Let us work hard to end the destruction of our planet by those
mobsters (money from oil also goes to support Israeli apartheid and endless
wars).What if each human being on this planet volunteered 5 hours a week to
work for the collective good (sustainable human and natural communities)?
