Wielka przyjaciółka Palestyny, lekarka, która pracowała w szpitalu w Gazie podczas masakry w Sabra i Shatila we wrześniu 1982 roku, i pozostała wierna Palestynie, wciąż walcząc w komitetach solidarności z palestyńskim ludem w Wielkiej Brytanii, Europie i na całym świecie. Jest jedną z założycielek “Komitetu, aby nie zapomnieć Sabra i Shatila”, komitetu z członkami z całego świata.
Ta lekarka, w drugim dniu masakry w Sabra i Shatila, przyjęła mnie w sali operacyjnej szpitala, a moje ciało było zdeformowane i poszarpane przez odłamki pocisku wystrzelonego przez izraelski czołg Merkava 17 września 1982 roku, drugiego dnia tej masakry. Ur Ratowała moje życie, a także życie wielu innych rannych i chorych ludzi w obozach. Wciąż utrzymuję z nią silne więzi i nadal podziwiam ją, jej pracę i jej walkę. Jest imponującą i silną bojowniczką, która nie męczy się, mimo swojego wieku i choroby.
Dziś wysłała mi ten link do długiego wywiadu, który przeprowadziło z nią Muzeum Palestyńskie w Stanach Zjednoczonych.
Dr Swee, ogromnie cię szanuję. Dziękuję ci i wszystkim, którzy walczą z tobą o wolną Palestynę, o braterstwo, równość i pokój między ludźmi.

A great friend of Palestine, the doctor who worked at Gaza Hospital during the Sabra and Shatila massacre in September 1982, and remained loyal to Palestine, still fighting in solidarity committees with the Palestinian people in Britain, Europe, and the world. She is one of the founders of the “Committee to Never Forget Sabra and Shatila,” a committee with members from all around the world.
This doctor, on the second day of the Sabra and Shatila massacre, received me in the operating room of the hospital, and my body was shattered and torn by shrapnel from an Israeli Merkava tank shell on September 17, 1982, the second day of that massacre. She saved my life, as well as the lives of many other injured and sick people in the camps. I still maintain a strong relationship with her, and I have a lot of admiration for her, her work, and her struggle. She is an impressive and strong fighter who never tires, despite her age and illness.

Dr. Swee, I hold you in the highest regard. Thank you, and thanks to everyone who fights with you for a free Palestine, and for brotherhood, equality, and peace among people.
